Police seek suspects ID in Patel killing
Police investigating the fatal shooting of Brookland shopkeeper Raj Patel are circulating images from a surveillance camera in the Newton Food Market in an effort to identify two men who they say are suspects.
These men were videotaped by a surveillance camera in the Newton Food Market around the time that store manager Raj Patel was killed. (Metropolitan Police Department photos)
D.C. police offer a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of a person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Information provided by to the Crime Solvers Unit that leads to an arrest and indictment can qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.

I was right in my assumption that this crime was obviously perpetrated by two straight A students from Georgetown and GWU...two more reasons why DC is the cesspool that it is...

purple54, about 55% of DC homicides are solved. Their chances of remaining free are very good.

Too bad those video cameras that are only producing grainy, useless images can't be retooled to dispense tear gas or bullets.

Do a little research before you go throwing out false information. DC Homicide closure rate is at 82.6%. Check this link to see for yourself.
