Howard Co. crash kills Md. man

A single-car crash in Howard County left the driver dead late Tuesday night, and police said alcohol and speed appear to have been factors.
Police said David Lee Bradford, Jr., 21, of Brooklyn, Md., was driving his 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD pickup truck south on Hobbs Road when the vehicle crossed the center line and went off the left side of the road.
The pickup then crossed back across the road to the right side and rolled onto the driver’s side, coming to rest in the 2900 block of Hobbs Road at about 9:50 p.m.
Bradford was taken to Howard General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said Bradford was not wearing a seatbelt.
