Howard police car involved in accident outside police station

Here's a fender bender the likes of which you don't hear about every day: One that involves a police car outside a police station.
Howard County authorities are still investigating the cause of Wednesday’s accident in Ellicott City. A police officer driving an unmarked car was struck by another vehicle as the officer was making a left hand turn onto Court House Dr. from Brightwell Drive -- outside county police headquarters.
The officer, who police say was not responding to a call and did not have lights or sirens activated, was unharmed.
The driver of the 2003 Chevy Malibu was transported to Howard County General Hospital with an injury to her arm.
