Washington Post Editors

Authorities are looking for a missing 17-year-old Olney girl who went missing Wednesday during her lunch break from her job in Silver Spring.

Montgomery County Police are looking for Rosa Lorena Torres, is described as a light-skinned Hispanic youth who is 5-foot 3-inches tall and weighs 130 lbs.

She was wearing a pink shirt and shorts at the time she took her lunch break from her volunteer job at Brookside Gardens at 1800 Glenallan Ave., authorities said.

She was wearing her black hair, which falls below her shoulder, in a ponytail.

Her co-workers told authorities that when they resumed work at 12:55 Wednesday, Rosa had not returned.

Police say Rosa has lived in the area since April.

I hope she's found soon, safe and sound.

BTW -

She was wearing her black hair, which falls below her shoulder ...

She only has one shoulder? OMG! That's a pretty distinguishing feature!

Mr. Alexander, perhaps you should run your stories by the editor before you post them (although that's no guarantee it'll be correct.)
