'Bawdy' Sterling massage parlor raided

Nine people were arrested after Loudoun authorities raided a Sterling massage parlor where authorities allege some workers didn't have the proper permits -- and some massages went too far, authorities said Thursday.

Loudoun Sheriff's spokesman Kraig Troxell said complaints by residents prompted investigators to check out the Green Therapy Massage Parlor on Whitfield Place in Sterling. A raid on the business came Tuesday after a six-month investigation.

The owner, Mi J. Kwon, 41, of Potomac Falls, was charged with maintaining a bawdy place and allowing massages to be given without a valid permit, sheriff's officials said.

One woman, an employee, was charged with a county ordinance that bans massage therapists from fondling clients.

Two other employees were charged with performing massages without a valid permit.

And five men were charged with frequenting a bawdy place, authorities said.

Nice to see the stalwart men of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Dept are doing their part to deprive residents of happy endings.

"charged with maintaining a bawdy place"

That's the most unintentionally hilarious charge ever.

They've spent months investigating this, but they just can't seem to prosecute the Salahis (white house crashers) for collecting hundreds of thousands running a phony charity, or ANYBODY for wrecking our financial system.

Does law enforcement have the right priorities?

did the police check if the workers/owner are living legally in the US?

Heterosexual males need a sex slave that can't speak & never gets old & wrinkled.
Ready to go 24-7. No excuses. No whining. No crying. That way women don't have to be bothered by men.

Will they be sending the illegal workers away too, since places like this typically hire smuggled girls or women.

Do they play some pianee at these here bawdy places?

If you look through the local Korean newspapers, you'll see lots of ads for these types of places, often they are located in industrial parks.

Hey, aren't we trying to create jobs? Maybe instead of arresting them, the gov should send them some, um, stimulus funds...

"five men were charged with frequenting a bawdy place".

Anyone know if that is that a new law?

How may "Happy Endings" can you get in 6 months? Maybe we should ask the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff: "We need more evidence, someone has to go out there again and take one for the team!"

Deputies: (en masse) "Me!" "No, he went last time, me!" "No, me, I'll be your BFF!" "I'll wash your car!" "I'll buy you lunch!"

Makes me wanna open up a massage parlor, and call it "The Bawdy Palace Massage & Spa" - except actually make it legitimate. At least I know I'll get some curious clientel who might of course walk away disappointed, and at least I know many will be policeman undercover just hoping they found the right place.

Posted by: rondh69 | April 30, 2010 7:49 PM | Report abuse

Why is it you can go to a restaurant and maybe flirt and hit it off with the waitress then leave her a big tip and lets say you stay till after closing and she takes you in the back and have sex. Perfectly legal....but go for a massage and get a happy ending and the world ends.
