Man calls police from squad car: Report
An intoxicated man who was getting a ride from police called 911 because he thought he was being kidnapped, according to this report:
The unidentified man was being given a ride by troopers from the Bridgeton barracks to a relative's house on Feb. 14 after police found him intoxicated while investigating a disorderly persons call.
During the ride to his family's house, he called emergency services to report his "abduction," according to a state police report made available Thursday.
