Loudoun Sheriff's Office plans community meeting
If you live in the Dulles South area of Loudoun County and you've got questions about crime trends or traffic problems, county authorities want to hear them.
The Loudoun Sheriff's office is planning a community meeting on Monday for residents of Dulles South. It's scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Dulles South Station Community Room located at 25216 Loudoun County Parkway in Chantilly.
The meeting wasn't prompted by a rash of crimes. Sheriff's officials hold such events each quarter in each of four service areas of the county to keep in contact with communities. Residents, homeowner association representatives and community groups are invited.
A captain will lead the meeting. Investigators and crime prevention deputies will be there too. Planned meetings in other areas of the county will be posted on the sheriff's department website.
