Person found dead on Metro train
A person was found dead on a Metro train Monday, an agency spokeswoman said.
Metro said an "unconscious patron" was found on a train at the platform of the Shady Grove station on the Red Line. The discovery was made about 3 p.m.
After the death was confirmed by the Montgomery County fire department, the train was moved into the rail yard at Shady Grove.
Authorities went to the scene, and a preliminary report indicated that the death was not suspicious, said Metro spokeswoman Angela Gates.
