Man found unconscious in D.C. police cell, taken to hospital
An adult male prisoner was found unconscious in a holding cell at the Seventh Police District in Southeast at about 11:30 a.m. and has been taken to George Washington University Hospital, spokesmen for District police and Fire and Emergency Medical Services said.
Police spokesman Kenny Bryson said the incident is being investigated and did not know the man's condition or other details about how he was found.
