The distinction you ignore, shadon1, is that while we can do little to avoid all the hazards our children are exposed to from US citizens, we most certainly can avoid the hazards from illegal aliens. If Leonel Vega-Perez is an illegal alien, and if we had actually enforced our current immigration laws for the last quarter century, we would obviously not be reading this morning about this abhorent rape of a child by Leonel Vega-Perez.

This child's misery is just one of many thousands of entirely avoidable assaults, rapes, murders, and drunk driving deaths attributable to aliens who should not even be within our borders. This is true independent of the question of whether illegal aliens are more, less, or equally prone to such acts.

Every tragedy associated with illegal aliens is avoidable simply by enforcing our current immigration laws ... no "Comprehensive Reform" is required. There is no need, the man's picture is posted and it is obvious that he is white. Hispanic white, but white none the less. See, the majority of these illegals that are committing crimes are white.
