Frederick man gets 25 years for role in death of witness
Federal prosecutors say a Frederick man has been sentenced to more than 24 years in prison for his role in the murder of a witness.
Twenty-five-year-old Steven Leroy Stone was sentenced Monday. .
He had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit witness tampering and other offenses in the 2005 death of David Wayne Lee Jr.
Stone is the fourth of five defendants to be convicted in Lee's death. Lee had been ordered to testify against Stone and others in a drug and weapons investigation.
