Md. man made up robbery story to protect wife: Police
From the Associated Press: Police in Frederick say a man who was stabbed in the leg made up a story about being robbed to protect the real assailant -- his wife.
Police say they were called to Frederick Memorial Hospital late Wednesday night to investigate the victim's report of an attempted armed robbery.
They say inconsistencies in the man's story revealed that he had been stabbed in his own bedroom during an argument with his wife.
She faces charges including first-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
