Arrests in two College Park robberies

Police have arrested two men in connection with two of the four robberies of College Park businesses last month, authorities said Tuesday.

Derek Sean Waddy, 29, and William Edward Patton Jr., 34, both of College Park, have been charged with armed robbery in connection with the Feb. 23 robbery of a Pizza Hut in the 9000 block of Baltimore Avenue and the Feb. 21 robbery of the College Park Diner in the 9200 block of Baltimore Avenue, authorities said. Cpl. Larry Johnson, a Prince George's County police spokesman, said investigators located Waddy first, and soon thereafter learned he was working with Patton. In both cases, police have said, a man displayed a handgun, demanded money and fled on foot.

Johnson said he did not know how investigators connected Waddy and Patton to the robberies. He said so far, they have only been charged with those two crimes and not the Feb. 20 robbery of a Jerry's Subs and Pizza in the 10400 block of Baltimore Avenue or the Feb. 8 robbery of The Bamboo Eater in the 9900 block of Baltimore Avenue.

Let me say that the "United Forensic College" is the friendliest, most helpful and accessible college out there right now. The Criminal Justice curriculum isn’t going to overwhelm you.

These punks are incorrigible criminals with a 10-15 year history of arrests----95% of which were not prosecuted.

They (the punks) believe they can beat these latest charges because the public defender's office has been puttin up some big numbers against the State's Attorny's best and brightest.

There is somethin wrong in Upper Marlboro.

Does anyone else think "United Forensic College" is probably a huge scam based upon their advertising on message boards?
