Prince George's County Police have identified the man stabbed to death Saturday in Langley Park as 30-year-old Alejandro Marcos Diaz Vasquez, authorities said Thursday.

Vasquez, who lived in Langley Park, was the eighth of the county's 13 homicide victims this year. He was found stabbed in the 1400 block of University Boulevard just after 8 a.m. Saturday.

Police said they are still trying to determine who killed him and why. They have said previously that his slaying was possibly gang-related or the result of a personal dispute.
