Teen hurt in dirt bike crash dies

A teenager injured in a dirt bike crash in Charles County Sunday has died of his injuries, police said.
Nicholas Alan Sinsel, 17, of La Plata, died in the hospital Thursday, police said. He was critically injured about 3:30 p.m. Sunday after he crashed his dirt bike into a car parked in a neighbor’s yard in the 6000 block of Hannon Drive in La Plata, police said.
Sinsel was not wearing a helmet, and he was thrown from the bike during the crash, police said.
