Transit Police recapture prisoner
A prisoner escaped from Metro Transit Police near the Suitland Road Station but was caught about an hour later, Metro officials said.
The man, who had been arrested earlier in the day for reasons that were not identified, was taken back into custody about 7:40 p.m., said Metro spokesman Reggie Woodruff.
