Where to send donations for mother, newborn injured in attack

Matt Zapotosky

Several readers have written to ask where to send donations to help mother and child from this chilling story in Tuesday's paper. Here's what I have found out:

Donations of money, clothing or other items can be mailed to or dropped off at the Prince George's County Department of Social Services, 805 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785. Checks should be made out to the Prince George's County Department of Social Services, with the name "Miracle Sky" written in the memo line.

Any questions can be directed to Napre Anderson, assistant to the director at the department of social services, who can be reached directly at 301-909-7077.

Also on Tuesday, police charging documents were provided to The Post that identify the victim of the attack as 29-year-old Teka Adams. Police said she remains hospitalized.

Her attacker, 40-year-old Veronica Deramous, remains jailed in Arlington, though authorities say she is expected to be brought to Prince George's County later Tuesday to appear at a bond hearing on Wednesday.

Thank you I live in Verona of Silver Hill where this incident happened. Thank you for the info. Many of my neighbors wanted to know how to send some items to this young lady and her daughter .
