Fund set up for fallen officer whose wife is pregnant with triplets

A memorial fund has been set up for Montgomery County Police Officer Hector Ayala.

Ayala was killed Sunday morning after his police car struck a tree. He leaves behind a 14-month old son and a wife who is pregnant with triplets.

Checks can be written to "MCLEORF," and mailed to:

Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #35 18512 Office Park Drive Montgomery Village, MD 20886

Contributors should write "Officer Ayala" or "Hector Ayala" in the memo line of the check.
