Arrest in artist's killing
Montgomery County police this morning identified the suspect in the killing of a 45-year-old artist as Raymond L. Williams, 35, of the 11100 block of Dewey Road, in Kensington. He was charged with first-degree murder, booked into the Montgomery County Detention Center, and is expected to have a bond hearing today at 1 p.m., police said.
Officials also confirmed that the victim, Azin Naimi, was killed in space she used as an art studio, in the 12000 block of Nebel Street, in the Rockville-North Bethesda area. Williams worked in the warehouse area of that building, behind Naimi's studio, police said.
The motive for the murder is still under investigation.
Police said that anyone with information about Naimi's death can call 240-773-5070.

How tragic. She probably knew him and saw him quite often. To think that someone you interact with almost daily, could one day be your killer. Terrible.
Thoughts and prayers out to her family and friends.
