Update, 9:10 p.m.:

Keonta was located this evening, safe and unharmed, in Washington, according to Montgomery County police.

Original post:

Keonta Tamika Allen was last seen leaving the 14100 block of Bauer Drive in Rockville on Thursday about 8:30 a.m., according to Montgomery County police. Until recently, she lived with relatives in the 3900 block of Alabama Avenue in Southeast Washington.

Officials described Keonta as black with a medium complexion, 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 90 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be wearing a jacket of unknown color, a white T-shirt, blue jeans and red/orange high-top Nike tennis shoes with flowers, police said.

Officials are concerned because of her youth and medical conditions. Anyone with information about Keonta is asked to call 301-279-8000 or 240-773-5400.
