Spring Crime Training Update: Men in Nats/White Sox hats rob bank

Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed the Independence Federal Savings Bank, 7901 Eastern Ave., Silver Spring, Thursday morning, according to Montgomery County police.

No one was injured during the heist.

Police described the first suspect as a black man, 5-feet-7, wearing a black Washington Nationals hat, black jacket, blue jeans and sunglasses. His accomplice donned a black Chicago White Sox hat, and is described as a black man, 5-feet-9, wearing a black jacket with gray or white trim and a black shirt.

A BLACK Washington Nationals Hat?! An obvious tip off! Don't they only come in white or red?

Those hats/jackets come in a multitude of colors, so that gang members can wear the appropriate colors.

Check the work schedule at PG police department, find out who was off duty and start the investigation there.

The robbers are described as black? There must be a mistake....I would never have guessed they are black!
