Woman assaulted in Aspen Hill

By Washington Post Editors

Montgomery County Police say a 52-year-old woman was sexually assaulted early Saturday morning in Aspen Hill.

The woman was walking along Georgia Ave., approaching Hewitt Ave., at approximately 12:53 a.m. when she was forced into the woods and raped.

The suspect fled on foot, police said. He's described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, approximately 5'5" tall, with a medium build and short black hair.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. A $1,000 reward is being offered.
