Two men were arrested Wednesday in separate homicide cases in the District, one stemming from a stabbing last week and the other from a shooting in October, police said.

In the recent case, police said, Keith Littlepage-El, 49, was arrested in the 5200 block of Loughboro Road NW and charged with murder in the March 4 slaying of 36-year-old Selina Knight of Southeast Washington, police said. They said Knight was found stabbed to death in a residence in the 3000 block of Nelson Place SE.

The other arrest was in the Oct. 30 shooting of 25-year old Rodney Bean of Northwest Washington, who was found dead at 14th and Clifton streets NW. The suspect, Sharrod Shadama Peppers, 22, of Northwest Washington, was charged with murder.
