Men pose as cops in Md. robbery: Police
Prince George's County police have arrested two men accused of impersonating law enforcement officers during a robbery near Langley Park's International Mall early Sunday.
Police say Daniel Blaylock, 24, and Kennedy Ventura, 20, rolled up on their victims in a black SUV with strobe lights about 3:30 a.m. The man flashed phony police badges, assaulted the victims and fled with their wallets and other items, police said.
Blaylock, of Hyattsville, and Ventura, of Northwest Washington, were charged with robbery and second degree assault.
Police said they believe the men may have preyed on others.
Anyone with information is asked to call 301-699-2601.
