Police investigating Landover homicide

By Ian Shapira

Prince George's County police said they are investigating the homicide of a man found dead inside a parked truck in Landover on Sunday afternoon.

The window of the truck was busted, and the driver was found slumped over at 12:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Nalley Terrace, said Cpl. Erica Johnson, a Prince George's police spokeswoman.

Police identified the man as James Edward Waters, 24, of Bethesda. Johnson said detectives are still searching for a suspect and motive in his killing.
