Attempted abduction in Manassas
A 15-year-old girl reported that she was walking near a shopping center Sunday evening when a man grabbed her and tried to pull her into the woods, Prince William police said. The girl said she screamed and the man fled.
The incident occurred about 7:15 p.m. near Shoppers Square and Maplewood Drive in Manassas, police said.

Police said the man is described as Hispanic, about 5 foot 6 and weighs about 210 pounds. He is between 30 and 40 years old, police said.
He has a muscular build and was clean-shaven. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a baby blue polo shirt, dark baggy jeans, a white baseball cap with black lettering and dirty white shoes.
