Police: Va. Man fatally shoots roommate

By David P. Marino-Nachison

A 53-year-old Manassas man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of his roommate, according to police.

Police went to the 7200 block of Kings Arm Drive in Manassas in response to a report of a shooting about 12:15 a.m. Monday, police said. David W. Laws allegedly shot his roommate, Walter J. Sulzbach, 53, before shooting at a woman who was known to both men.

David Laws (Prince William Police)

The woman was unhurt, police said. Laws called police and reported the shooting, police said. He was arrested without incident and charged with murder, attempted aggravated malicious wounding, two counts of the use of a firearm in commission of a felony and two counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling.

He is being held without bond before a scheduled Feb. 23 court date, police said.

What no "thug" or "animal" comments yet? You people must be out at lunch and didn't read this yet, so I'll check back in about 2 hours and see what's going on then.

You can't blame him for his uncivilized behavior, he was raised in the trailer parks and his parents are probably siblings.

Based upon his hair, he appears to have been thrown out of The Grecian Formula Crew...another wannabe, middle aged, caucasian thug removed from our streets. I feel much safer now...
BTW...where is his North Face coat? That seems to be standard thug clothing.

Nah he is a white male from Va. so he must be bi-polar and did not take his meds and his parents divorced when he was at a critical emotional point of his young adult life. You are only a thug and animal if you are black and from DC or PG county and kill someone. Thought you knew how this works.

We need to exterminate white people and make the world better (sarcasm). Also, this crime results because of liberals. It's always race and liberals. Run Sarah, run! LOL

@PublicEnemey1...I know right??

I was surprised to see that no one had responded.. LMAO!! Of course they're mad, especially since one of THEIR own went on ANOTHER killing rampage in AZ. It never fails. OBTW of course the Congresswoman shooter has to have mental problems. If his name was Jackson,Sanchez or Muhammed these Klansman posters would have been all on the net posting, but since "the chicken came home to roost" all is quite in Mayberry!!!

When you draw a comparision to the recent AZ shootings that only invites more comparisons to who commits the majority of drive bys.
I think we both know that answer...
