Burglar in ski mask caught in the act
It was just after midnight Thursday when Prince William police officers rushed to a Perfect Auto in Manassas for the report of a burglary in progress. Making an arrest didn't take much sleuthing.
Officers spotted a man wearing a ski mask and gloves standing near a ladder that had been propped up on the side of the building, police spokesman Jonathan Perok said. He said officers interrupted the burglary before anything was taken.
Harvey Leemore, 34, of the 1600 block of Evergreen Way in Essex County, was charged with attempted burglary, attempted grand larceny and possession of burglarious tools.
