Woman's skull, bones found in Dale City woods
The skull and several bones of a woman were found Wednesday in a wooded area of Dale City, Prince William police said.
A search team found the remains in a second attempt to scour the area behind 13804 Minnieville Road after getting information of a skull being seen there.
An investigation is ongoing.
