Man shot dead in Landover

Prince George's County police are investigating the homicide of a man who was shot to death early Tuesday morning in Landover.

At about 3:45 a.m., patrol officers were summoned to an apartment building in the 7500 block of Buchanan Street, said Lt. Tammy Sparkman, a police department spokeswoman.

Officers found an adult male dead of gunshot wounds.

Police identified the man as Michael Anthony Roberts Jr., 27, of Landover.
