Rape attempt charge for Md. man

An Ellicott City man has been charged with the attempted rape of a woman who had hired him to do painting and repair work in her home.

Howard County police said the victim told them that after she hired Michael Anthony Harris, 50, she had provided him with a key to her home at his request.

Harris has been charged with attempted second-degree rape and second-degree assault in the incident June 10 at the victim's home in Woodstock.

He was released Saturday from the Howard County Detention Center after posting $15,000 bond.

What a clown! He's been reading too many Playboys or something to think this was going to work.
So if he avoids jail, he'll at least be a convicted felon. That should make the rest of his life easier.
