Six years later, no arrests in D.C. murder
The Washington Examiner has profiled a six-year-old unsolved killing in D.C. The victim, Wayne Walker, was found naked on his own living room floor:
Authorities said they believed he had been dead for days.
Walker's mother knew something was wrong when her son didn't come to her apartment several days earlier after she had asked him to bring her something to eat.
Walker took care of his mother, who also lived in D.C. He would visit her almost every day after work.
"My mother knew that Wayne was reliable, you know, anyone that knew Wayne knew he was reliable," Walker's sister, Cassandra, told reporters after his death.
Hours passed, then days, and still there was no sign of Walker.
