St. Mary's killing suspect caught
Authorities say they caught up with a suspect in a fatal St. Mary's County shooting at a home in Baltimore.
The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations says police responded to a reported shooting at a home on Lexwood Drive in Lexington Park on Saturday.
They found 22-year-old Antonio Nathaniel Pollard Jr. shot in the head. Pollard later died at a hospital.
Officials say 24-year-old Andrew Allen Carter of Lexington Park fled the scene before officers arrived.
On Monday, they say detectives and U.S. Marshals found Carter at a home in Baltimore and arrested him.
Carter faces first-degree murder charges in Pollard's death. Police say he was wanted on a probation violation in Worchester County on a past robbery conviction.
