They found 22-year-old Antonio Nathaniel Pollard Jr. shot in the head. Pollard later died at a hospital.
Officials say 24-year-old Andrew Allen Carter of Lexington Park fled the scene before officers arrived.
On Monday, they say detectives and U.S. Marshals found Carter at a home in Baltimore and arrested him.
Carter faces first-degree murder charges in Pollard's death. Police say he was wanted on a probation violation in Worchester County on a past robbery conviction.
