Arrest in D.C. man's shooting death
A Southeast D.C. man has been charged with the June 14 murder of another District man.
Anthony Waters, 43, turned himself in Monday morning, and was charged with felony murder while armed in the death of Derrick A. Harris, 37.
Police went to the 2600 block of Birney Place in Southeast around 9 p.m. in response to reports of a shooting.
They found Harris, of the 500 block of Kenyon Street NW, unconscious and suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was subsequently pronounced dead at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
