Charges filed in death of SE man

D.C. police have charged a 22-year-old D.C. man with second-degree murder in the death of Michael Washington, 63.
Vernon McRae of Southeast was arrested Thursday, more than a week after police had found Washington suffering from a blow to the head in the 1600 block of Morris Road SE. Washington died Nov. 1, police said.
