D.C. man, 19, dies in shooting
A 19-year-old District man died after a double shooting in Southeast D.C. early Friday, authorities said.
Stanley Dawson, of Good Hope Rd., was found suffering from gunshot wounds around 12:18 a.m. in the 3500 block of 19th St. SE. He was taken to an area hospital were he was later pronounced dead, D.C. police said in a Friday afternoon press release.
A second victim, an adult male, was found on Stanton Road and admitted to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
