D.C. man fatally shot in Southwest

By Paul Duggan

A District man was shot to death Monday night in the block where he lived in Southwest Washington, police said.

Gregory Joyner, 28, of the 200 block of K Street SW, was found bleeding from wounds by officers responding to a report of gunfire about 9:15 p.m., police said.

Joyner was pronounced dead a short while later at a hospital, police said.

The shooting is under investigation by homicide detectives. Police asked anyone with information about the case to call 202-727-9099 or 888-919-2746. The department offers a reward of $25,000 for tips leading to a conviction in a homicide case.
