Man, 24, shot dead in D.C.
A 24-year-old District man was found fatally shot late Monday in the Shaw neighborhood of Northwest Washington, D.C. police said.
Police heard gunshots in the area of the 900 block of Westminster Street NW about 11:30 p.m.
Officers went there and found the victim, who had a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he died, police said.
They identified him as Ronald Johnson of Northeast.
