Mozart and 16th don't intersect. Do you mean 16th and Euclid, or Fuller?

Just an another average summer night in the hood...I mean District....

Could this at all be related to the "permanent" gang hangout at 17th and Euclid? I believe that must have been established as part of the act that created the District, since it seems intractable despite gentrification, new police regimes, etc.

anyone know what the murder count is for this year to dat?

@blankspace: A group of unemployed people hanging out on a stoop =/= permanent gang hangout. Move to Arlington if you're that scared.

@purpledrank The so-called "crew" living at 17th and Euclid has been there for as long as I've lived nearby (5 years). On average, they shoot a couple of people each year. It sounds possible that this guy was running with them. If that's true, I wouldn't be mourning.
