Md. man, 43, slain in Southeast D.C.
A 43-year-old Maryland man was found shot to death Tuesday night in Southeast Washington near the Prince George's County line, D.C. police said.
Officers responding to a report of gunfire in the 900 block of Southern Avenue SE found the body shortly before 8 p.m., police said.
The victim was identified as Lonzo Mitchell, who lived in Capital Heights.
The killing remains under investigation by homcide detectives.
