D.C. police said a gunshot was fired during an arrest Tuesday afternoon but that no one was wounded by the bullet. A police spokesman said it was not immediately clear whether the shot came from an officer's gun or a suspect's. An officer suffered minor cuts during the incident, which occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. at New Hampshire Avenue and Emerson Street NW.
