W.Va. murder suspect sought in D.C.
Authorities say a Berkeley County, W. Va., woman whose body was found in a burned apartment along with her young son may have owed a suspect money.
Authorities continued their search Tuesday for Antonio Prophet, of Lorton, who was charged in an arrest warrant with murder. Police say the search has been expanded to include the Washington, D.C. area.
Fire crews found the bodies Sunday in Gerrardstown. The warrant identifies the victims as 22-year-old Angela Devonshire and her 3-year-old son, Andre White. The results of autopsies on the bodies have yet to be released.
An officer's statement says investigators listened to a phone call in which an unidentified woman said the suspect allegedly told her he killed Devonshire and her son and that Devonshire had stolen money from him.
