Frederick woman killed in Md. crash
Maryland State police say a Frederick woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 40 west of Church Hill Road.
Fifty-one-year-old Tammy Marie Jessee was trapped in her car and pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Monday about 4:05 p.m.
Troopers say Jessee tried to turn left into a private driveway from eastbound 40 when it was hit by a pickup truck driven by 48-year-old Carl Buell of Myersville.
The collision pushed Jessee’s car into the westbound lane, where it was hit by a milk tanker truck driven by 42-year-old Edward Deputy Jr. of Bedford, Pa.
Buell and Deputy were not hurt.
The crash is under investigation.
