Woman killed in St. Mary's crash
A D.C. woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Charlotte Hall Tuesday night, Maryland State Police said.
Doria M. Bethea, 42, was entering the street from a median at about 10:47 p.m. when she was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on Three Notch Road south of Golden Beach Road, police said.
Bethea was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The operator of the vehicle, a Mechanicsville man, was uninjured.
