Truck driver dies in Beltway crash

The driver of a tractor-trailer that crashed on the Capital Beltway in Montgomerty County Monday morning has died, state police officials said.

They did not release his name, because they want to make sure his family has been fully notified.

An occupant in a different vehicle involved in the crash was taken to a local hospital and is listed in serious condition, said John McDonough, a state police dispatcher.
