Man killed in Capitol Heights shooting identified
Prince George's County police have identified a man killed in a double shooting in Capitol Heights earlier this month as Andre David Brooks of the District, authorities said Wednesday.
Brooks, 33, and a 31-year-old man were shot in the 6800 block of Central Avenue on April 12, police said.
Brooks was transported to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The 31-year-old man is expected to survive, according to police.
Detectives have yet to make an arrest in the case but believe the incident stemmed from a personal dispute between the two men and a suspect.
