Fairfax police release photos of meatballs they say were used to kill dogs
Fairfax police have released photographs of the meatballs they say were made with toxic chemicals and fed to two Centreville-area dogs, killing them.
The dead dogs lived across the street from each other, and police said they were likely targeted.
The investigation continues, police said Friday, and area residents are warned to watch their yards for suspicious items and call police if they find any.
