Fifth arrest in Montgomery stairwell beating caught on video
Montgomery County detectives have arrested a fifth suspect in connection with a "pack" robbery in an apartment building stairwell in Aspen Hill on May 5 that was captured on surveillance video, officials said Wednesday.

Zora D. Backoulas, 23, of the 14200 block of Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, was arrested Tuesday evening and charged with first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery, and resisting arrest, according to police.
During the assault, in the 13000 block of Georgia Avenue, the victim suffered broken ribs, cuts, and severe bruises, police said.
The video showed five suspects attacking a man.
The first three arrests were announced when police first released information about the attack in mid-May. A fourth arrest was announced May 27.
