Man charged in Va. woman's death
A Springfield man has been charged with murder in the death of a Falls Church woman, authorities said Thursday.
Lam Dang, 40, of the 6800 block of Floyd Avenue in Springfield, was hospitalized in stable condition after a Wednesday night incident. Police called to the 5T Bar and Grill, in a strip mall in the 7000 block of Spring Garden Drive, found a woman dead inside.
On Thursday, Fairfax police identified the woman as Tieu L. Nguyet, 37, of the 3200 block of Kenney Drive, and said Dang had been charged with murder.
Dang allegedly assaulted Nguyet with a knife in what police called a "domestic" incident.
