Abuelazam may face more charges
A prosecutor in Flint says he's filing more charges against Elias Abuelazam, the man accused of one stabbing and suspected of many others in Michigan and other states.
Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton has scheduled a news conference for Monday.
Five men in the Flint area were killed and nine others were injured in a series of stabbings between spring and early August.
So far, Abuelazam is charged in just one case, the attempted murder of a 26-year-old man. He was arrested last month at the Atlanta airport while trying to travel to Israel, his native country.
Abuelazam also is a suspect in two stabbings and a hammer attack in Virginia and a stabbing in Ohio.
A message seeking comment was left Friday for his lawyer.
